The Apagya Dance Band was formed by Ebo Taylor and Gyedu Ambulley when they left their respective bands SEMINAL ENSEMBLE and the UHURU Dance Band and were interested in experimenting with ideas other than only Ghanaian highlife stuff to appeal to global blacks.
